Armando Christian Perez | Pitbull

Pitbull is an English singer, rapper, songwriter, and song producer. His original name is Armando Christian Perez. Pitbull is his stage name. He was born in 15 January 1981 in Miami Florida. His parents got divorced in his early age and he was raised by his mother only. When his mother found him in drug dealing business she kicked out him from her house and Pitbull spent rest of his life in Georgia with foster family.  

He started rapping at his early age. After his graduation he felt that he should concentrate on his career and should not continue his study further. In 2002 Pitbull worked with Lil Jon on his album Kings of Crunks as a featured guest. He also released many mixtapes which were composed of different remixes and freestyles of rap music.

In 2004 he released his album under TVT records with the name of M.I.A.M.I mean Money Is a Major Issue. He reached at number14 on Billboard Top Hot 200 songs.

Two years after his first album he released his second album in 2004 with the name of El Mariel. El Mariel was a boat which is used to transfer Cuban refugees to Florida in ScarFace movie. His father died in that year so he dedicated this record to him. He was at number 2 at Billboard Hot Raps and number 1 on independent chart.

In 2007 he released his third album with the name of The Boatlift. It was not as much successful as were previous albums. The reasons could be much contribution from different people. It was failed to come among top 20 of billboard Hot 200. In 2009 he released his fourth album Rebelution in 2010 Armando and in 2011 Planet Pit.

He was nominated for many awards. In 2009 he won Billboard Latin Music Awards, in 2011 ALMA Awards for favorite artist of the year while in 20012 he again won Billboard Music Awards for Top Radio Song “Give Me Everything.”
